Evans wins first title of 2013

After winning the Irish Open in December 2012, Irish number one Scott Evans has continued his good form as he won the 25th Li-Ning Winter Sun Cyprus International 2013 beating Andrew Smith (Eng) in 2 straight sets

Mens Singles: Irish number one Scott Evans has looked in great form as he has made his way to the final in Cyprus. Scott is yet to drop a set on his way to the final beating opposition from Cyprus, England, Ukraine and lastly Germany’s Philip Discher who he defeated in the semi-final 21-8 21-5 in only 17 minutes of play. In the Final he will meet world number 73 Andrew Smith of England. Smith has looked equally impressive on his way to the final and he too is yet to drop a set. The final’s will start at 10 am in Cyprus.
