Ireland’s Seamus O’Connor has made a major breakthrough by finishing in the top 10 of the 2015 Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle World Championships in Kreischberg (AUT) this morning.
O’Connor is coached by New Zealander Sam Wilkinson and since Sochi 2014 they have been working on a number of new routines.
In the semi finals O’Connor produced the best slopestyle performance of his career so far and in doing so qualified ( with the second highest score – 90.33 ) for today’s final.
Prior to the event O’Connor’s coach Sam Wilkinson said ” In this post Olympic year Seamus has been working on developing a new routine. I am looking forward to seeing the results when this new run is fully developed.”
O’Connor is consolidating his position as one of the word’s best young snowboarders. Many congratulations !
