February 3, 2010

Olympic Council of Ireland and Irish Bobsleigh lobbied the International Bobsleigh Association to allow small nations to have an opportunity to train on the track, in addition to official practice.

Athletes and support staff, Barry Delany and coach Horst Horlein are based in accomodation arranged by the OCI close to the sliding centre. The team will transfer to the Olympic Village on 4th February, the official opening day, and they will stay there for the duration of the Olympic Games.
